Description:
The Software Engineer will contribute on the Service Node team for a fast-paced VoIP project. The work will consist of creating and maintaining new and existing cross-platform, cross-browser, object-oriented web provisioning applications written in PHP using a variety of technologies running in a UNIX environment. Linksys One is a small business network solution composed of LAN, router, WAN, storage, IP telephony, video, surveillance, wireless and other products delivered as a managed service. This position will specifically support the Verizon account.
Responsibilities may include any of the following:
-Create and maintain both visual and programmatic web applications
-Create, integrate and maintain cross-browser and cross-platform web application GUIs
-Create, debug and support provisioning applications written in PHP, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript and XML
-Create, debug and support database queries written in SQL
-Support technical writers to document new and modified application features
-Support quality assurance engineers to ensure the application is of high quality
-Multitask and accommodate rapid changes in direction
Experience required:
-8+ years as software engineer in telecommunications industry
-New graduates with Co-op experience will be considered for this position.
